SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The men's tennis team continued their 2021 season with a match against Millikin in Springfield.  The Panthers won half of the singles matches but were swept in doubles as they dropped the match 6-3.

Greenville's winners included No. 4 Mathew Rodriguez, No. 5 Zach Merrill, and No. 6 Thibaut Tignee.

Rodriguez needed a tiebreaking set before winning his match.  Rodriguez rolled to a 6-0 win in the first set, before dropping the second set 4-6.  He took the tiebreaker 10-8.

Merrill cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 win in his match, and Tignee was a 7-6, 6-2 victor.

The Panthers (0-3) host Illinois College on Thursday, March 4 in Greenville.
