GREENVILLE, Ill. - The football took another step toward the UMAC championship with a 55-30 win over Crown at Francis Field on Saturday.
The Panthers received four touchdown runs from Paul Garrett in the win.
Terrance Brown also caught a four yard pass from Chase Butterfield for a touchdown, and Matthew Tiger connected with Butterfield for a 21 yard touchdown.
Adrian Hinton and Butterfield also added a rushing touchdown.
Greenville had a 14-6 lead after the first quarter, and the Panthers held a 35-22 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, GU scored 13 unanswered points to make the score 48-22.
Each team scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The Panthers (6-2, 4-0 SLIAC) travel to Finlandia, a new affiliate member of the UMAC, for a game next Saturday.
