FENTON, Mo. - The women's soccer team suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss in overtime on Wednesday night at Soccer Park.
The Panthers had a challenging first 45 minutes as they were held without a shot.
In the second half, Webster outshot GU 6-3, but the Panthers posted a 2-1 shot advantage in overtime.
Greenville's five shots in the match came from Samantha De La Cruz, 2; Jen De Leon De Leon, 1; Kiera Coleman, 1; and Kat Stroot, 1.
Goalkeeper Grace Gehner protected the net all night and had two saves in just over 98 minutes of work.
The Panthers (10-6, 10-3 SLIAC) host Fontbonne on Saturday at 3 p.m.
