WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- The women's basketball team's postseason did not end on Thursday, but their pursuit of a second consecutive NCCAA national championship ceased with a 62-55 loss to Concordia (Michigan) in the semifinals of the tournament.

The Panthers led after each of the first three quarters, but they were outscored 23-7 in the fourth quarter.  Greenville's nine-point lead at the end of the third quarter was the highest for either team in the game.

Concordia held the edge in most of the statistical categories with a higher field goal percentage, more three-pointers, and less turnovers than the Panthers.

Greenville's Morgan St. James continued a solid national tournament as leading scorer with 11 points and top rebounder with eight.

Laura Goodnight added 10 points to the Panthers total.

The Panthers (22-7) face Emmanuel (Georgia) in the third place game on Saturday at 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET.  The matchup is a repeat of last season's national championship game.
