ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The men's soccer team matched up against No. 16 Washington-St. Louis on Tuesday and were dealt a 5-0 loss.
Washington could only put a single goal on the scoreboard in the first half as Greenville goalkeeper Nick Holland made 10 saves to keep it a one-goal game.
The Panthers managed to produce six shots against the Bears and were led by Edgar Bueno with four shots.
Washington held a 38-6 advantage in shots. Holland totaled 12 saves in 57 minutes of action. Jesus Hernandez tallied one save.
The Panthers (4-5) host Lincoln Christian at 7 p.m. on Thursday in their final non-conference match before they begin their SLIAC schedule on Saturday at 5 p.m. with a match against MacMurray in Greenville.
