GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's soccer team locked up with No. 12 Washington-St. Louis and limited the Bears to one first half goal but allowed three in the second half as they took the 4-0 shutout loss.

Washington University scored two of their four goals on penalty kicks.

Greenville goalkeepers Jonathan Bremer and Michael Gonzalez faced 40 shots in the contest.  Bremer stopped six shots, and Gonzalez had two saves.

The Panthers (3-6-1) host Principia on Saturday at 7 p.m.
