GREENVILLE, Ill. – Sophomore Sean McQuillan helped Greenville avoid their third loss in five games on Thursday with an opening goal that would be enough to help earn the tie against visiting LU.

McQuillan notched his first goal of 2011 in the 1-1 effort helping Greenville College move to a 1-3-2 record in early season play.

Senior GK Nathan Haas was present in net for the Panthers, earning the tie.

Greenville College men's soccer will return to action on Saturday, September 10 as they play host to Monmouth in the third match of the squads four game home stand. Saturday's game is scheduled for a 2:00 pm start.
