CARLINVILLE, Ill. - Senior striker Dan Taylor scored 45 seconds into the match to jump-start a dominating Greenville performance over Blackburn Wednesday night.

Greenville scored four goals in each half and out-shot the Beavers 27-4 in the 8-0 contest. Senior David Dunlop and sophomore Jacob Krisher each notched two goals in the conference battle to headline the Black & Orange's efforts.

Defensively senior Nathan Haas earned the shutout in net.

With the win GC men's soccer moves to 8-5-3 (3-1 SLIAC) and will next take the field Homecoming weekend against Eureka College. The SLIAC match is set for a 3 pm start on Saturday, October 15.
