CARLINVILLE, Ill. – The GC women extended their impressive win streak to eight games on Wednesday as they punished Blackburn 5-0 in Carlinville.
Greenville's efforts were headlined by another two-goal performance from sophomore specialist Natalie Henneberry. Henneberry's four shots helped the squad outshoot their conference foes 27-3.
Defensively sophomore Heidi Kohl earned the shutout in net.
With the win GC women's soccer moves to 11-4 (4-0 SLIAC) and will next take the field Homecoming weekend against Eureka College. The SLIAC match is set for a 1 pm start on Saturday, October 15.
