ORLANDO, Fla. - The Greenville spirit squad showed out in Orlanda this weekend at The College Classic Nationals, taking second in the open super spirit showdown! 

How it Happened:

The Panthers took second in the open super spirit showdown with a score of 39.40, beating out Wright State and Roger State. 

Cheer also competed in the open small coed cheer division, taking fourth place with a 67.75 after a solid outing in the prelims. In coed, the Panthers went up against some big dogs like Louisiana Monroe and Trine. 

Dance beat out Simpson by just hundredths of a point to take seventh place in DIII Hip Hop, scoring an 82.36. The Panthers also competed in the DIII Team Performance section, placing fifth (83.6) just under Adrian. They edged out Concordia Chicago by eight tenths of a point.
