SAINT PETER, Minn. - The women's gymnastics team saw history-making performances from Ashlie Leage and Amara Nelson at the NCGA Division III National Championships. Leage became a national champion in the uneven bars, and Nelson ended third in the nation in the all-around competition.
Leage posted a 9.775 to tie for first in the uneven bars, landing on the top podium spot.
In all-around, Nelson collected a 38.375 to take third. She scored highest on floor with a 9.750.
The Panthers compete next at the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championship on April 11-13.
