SHREVEPORT, La. - The women's gymnastics team earned their first win of the season after defeating Centenary (LA) 185.650-185.200 on Friday evening. The Panthers completely dominated, bringing home all five event titles.

How it Happened:

Vault Highlights:

Amara Nelson landed in first place in vault with her 9.650 performance. 

Ellery Gilmer followed her with a 9.450, placing third. 

Bars Highlights:

Posting a 9.400, Ashlie Leage took first on bars. 

Alessia Russo was close behind with a 9.325.

Beam Highlights:

Nelson earned another title for the Panthers, this time on beam with a 9.675. 

Olivia Tocco and Gilmer tied for third with a 9.625.

Floor Highlights:

Gilmer and Rachel Miller led GU on floor, both posting a 9.600 and tying for first. 

All-Around:

Putting up a composite score of 37.925, Nelson earned the top spot in the all-around competition.
