GREENVILLE, Ill. - The baseball team continued their solid play with a dominating 14-0 seven-inning win over Principia on Friday evening at Robert E. Smith Field.

Luke Fleener and relievers Terry Millikan and Jaxen Gibson held Principia to only two hits and struck out 14. Fleener held Principia off the scoreboard over five innings and collected nine strikeouts.

Offensively, the Panthers scored six runs in the first and third innings and two runs in the second.

Landon Mokris homered two times and went 2-for-3 with five RBI.

Brexton Beard was 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs scored, and three RBI.

Snyder Pennington was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and scored three runs.

Drew Frey and George Schneider each posted two runs for GU.

The Panthers (16-14, 9-4 SLIAC) will host Principia on Saturday in a doubleheader at 1 p.m.
