ELSAH, Ill. - The men's basketball team traveled to first place Principia on Saturday and was defeated 102-67 to snap their three game winning streak.

Greenville fell behind 47-26 after the first half. In the second half, the GU Panthers were outscored 55-47.

Darius Scott finished as the leading scorer for GU with 17 points. Carlos Crespo added 13 points for Greenville.

Jamie Calmese provided Greenville with eight rebounds, and Jarred Johnson collected four steals.

Gaawar Tuom posted two blocked shots.

The Panthers (5-16, 4-6 SLIAC) host Westminster on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.  The Panthers currently hold the sixth and final position in the SLIAC tournament race.
