MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- The baseball team had their winning streak snapped by Iowa Wesleyan on Tuesday as they lost both games of the doubleheader.  Greenville fell 3-1 in game one and then dropped the second game 4-3.

The Panthers took the early lead in game one when Austin Marsh hit a third inning sacrifice fly, but that is all Greenville's bats could muster.

Bryce Pearce allowed three runs over six innings in his complete game.  He allowed five hits and two walks while piling up five strikeouts.

Game two saw Iowa Wesleyan grab a two-run first inning lead, but Greenville tied the game in the top of the third with RBI singles from Travis Ralls and Klaiton Wolff.

Greenville took a 3-2 lead on a bases loaded walk by Mike Hardin the top of the seventh, but the Tigers regained the lead 4-3 with two runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Ralls posted three hits in the game.  Jesse Getz, Wolff, and Sam Hodges all had two hits.

Logan Murphy was the starting pitcher and continued his stretch of strong pitching.  Over six innings, he only allowed two runs.

Reliever Austin Rexroad picked up the loss with two earned runs in two innings.

The Panthers (23-14, 13-6 SLIAC) host Spalding on Friday at 6 p.m.
